Helen Moser is the Chief of the Paralegal Department at McHenry & Horan. She has been working in the legal field, specifically at firms defending General Negligence and Medical Malpractice cases, since 1988. Starting in the Billing Department and later Calendar Department, by the year 2000, Ms. Moser had become a paralegal, arranging for outside expert reviews, preparing and managing trial exhibits, managing client meetings and witness preparation at both the deposition and trial level and handling the procedural management of dispositive motions and appellate briefs, among other things. Helen is known by the paralegal departments of the significant plaintiff and defense firms in New York and is well-respected by all, allowing for the seamless functioning of cases at McHenry & Horan.
Before reopening the firm in 2021, Bob McHenry and Elizabeth Horan were aware that a skilled, experienced paralegal, who was known in the field, would be a crucial member of the team to have the firm reopen and move forward in an organized and orderly manner. One of the first people approached to join the reopened firm was Helen Moser. She is an essential and integral part of McHenry & Horan, and all its attorneys rely upon her competence, insight and tremendous good humor and sense to keep the firm organized and productive.
